Herb- Oat straw contains proteins (avenins), saponins, flavonoids, alkaloids, steroidal compounds, vitamins B1, B2, D, E, carotene, starch, and fat. It also contains minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and trace elements like silicon and potassium. A nurturing herb, also known to help with pain. Often taken as a tincture or tea. Use in younger children should probably be avoided as they may show sensitivity to this herb.
